Summer 2010 Beading Classes
Basic Beading 101:
This class is perfect for the beginner who has always been interested in beading but doesn’t know where to start! We will cover basic jewelry construction in this class. Students will make a necklace using beading wire and Czech glass beads, as well as construct a pair of matching earrings. Techiniques learned will be crimping and earwire twisting.

Linkmaking:
Learn to make beaded chains, popular in jewelry design today! Students will make a 20” beaded link necklace using Czech glass beads and silver or gold plated wire.
Dates: Thursday June 24th 4-6PM, Friday July 16th 4-6PM; Friday July 30th 4-6PM; Thursday August 5th 4-6PM; Friday August 20th 4-6PM

Beadweaving: Spiral Rope Necklace
Come and learn this fun, versatile beadweaving technique that works up beautifully and quickly! Students will make either a necklace or bracelet using size 8 czech glass seed beads. This stitch can be used on its own as a necklace, or used to make straps for amulet pouches.
